I am a Senior Counsellor, a registered Social Worker and Yoga Teacher. Here at Mandala Wellness & Psychology Practice, I provide counselling services for clients with mild to moderate mental health difficulties, such as anxiety, depression, complex trauma and other family/relationship issues.

Her Story

Eliarani is a registered Social Worker with the Singapore Association of Social Work (SASW) and 200-hour registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance. She graduated with a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honors) from National University of Singapore in 2013, with a major in Social Work, and proceeded to pursue her Master of Social Work degree from Washington University in St. Louis, USA with a full scholarship from the McDonnell International Scholars Academy. She has half a decade of experience in the specialised field of family violence and child protection, which includes providing holistic case management and counselling services for multi-stressed families as well as adult and child survivors of interpersonal violence. She is also certified as a Trauma Centre Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY) facilitator and has a 60-hour certificate course on Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy. 

With a vision to create more trauma-informed spaces in the community and lead the way in making embodied healing practices the ‘new normal’ in the field of mental health, Eliarani aims to integrate the practices of yoga and mindfulness with evidence-based interventions for working with individuals and communities where everyday experiences of trauma is pervasive. She strongly believes that the world needs more people who are living in connection with their wholeness and in alignment with their authentic selves, and she intends to be part of the movement that facilitates the holistic healing of one’s mind, body and spirit, thus allowing people to triumph over their trauma and come alive to their fullest potential. As a believer in life-long education and personal development, Eliarani continues to grow her knowledge and skills in the field of mental and emotional health through courses and reading emerging mental health literature. When not working or engaging in learning, she loves to spend time journaling, practicing yoga and immersing in nature through long walks.
