Her Story
Our founder and clinical psychologist, Ms Vithiyah Muthukumar has a decade of diverse experience in the field of mental health, within the Singapore public health system. She holds a Bachelors Degree (Cum Laude) in Psychology and Management from Singapore Management University. During her tenure in the public health sector, she had the opportunity to complete her Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from the National University of Singapore, on a Healthcare scholarship.

Vithiyah has gained comprehensive experience, working as part of multidisciplinary teams in outpatient and inpatient settings. Her experience further includes working with women’s health services, community psychiatry services and physical rehabilitation services. With a keen interest in pursuing evidence-based clinical practice, she constantly strives to upgrade her practice through relevant courses and mental health literature.

Vithiyah works with adults experiencing a range of mental health conditions and couples undergoing marital conflict. She has a special interest in working with clients who have acquired/traumatic brain injuries and neuro-developmental conditions such as Autism and ADHD . She further conducts psychological and neuropsychological assessments for adults and children. Aside from this, she has extensive experience in conducting mental health related education and skills training workshops for public, community and health care workers.
Being a mother of 2, she enjoys cooking and gaining new experiences. She is also passionate about giving back to the community through voluntary efforts. She is currently exploring using performing arts as an avenue to advocate for mental health.
